  1. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be chosen to get to be trained by you for my smartboard. Last year was my first year for having a smartboard.. Between having my 4th baby and everything else life brings, I didn't use my smartboard as much as I would of liked. The kids loved having it and I really want to use it more this year!! Plus I think I'm the first to comment!!
    What a great giveaway!!

  2. I am a new follower of yours! I would definitely LOVE this. I have taken one SMARTBoard course and it was one day for 1/2 a day (obviously not enough time). I am currently in grad school so I cannot attend any of the SMARTBoard courses due to restrictions with my class schedules. I would definitely like to improve my knowledge! Thanks for this awesome giveaway!! :)

  3. Oh wow, I would LOVE this! I just emailed you last week about possibly coming to Southport for Boot Camp!!

I wrote a grant last year to get a SMART board (no one else in my school had them), and was lucky enough to receive it! Finally at the end of January I got it. With the school year already half way finished, and it was a "learn as you go" thing, I did what I could, but basically used lessons off of Smart Exchange. I attended a half day workshop at the beginning of the summer to learn how to create lessons and all of the WONDERFUL things that the SMART board can do, but all that was discussed was how to set it up, and then how to search for lessons on the exchange. I was so disappointed!

I have still been playing around on the program this summer, but I know that it has so much more to offer! And to learn from a teacher who has BEEN THERE, would be FABULOUS!!

  4. What an amazing giveaway! I would love to have a boot camp session with you!

Last year was my first year of teaching in a classroom setting (second grade, too!) and we are blessed to have SMARTboards in each of our classrooms at my school. I used it daily, but between having a newborn and just trying to stay afloat my first year of teaching, I only ever used pre-made SMARTboard activities from Smart Exchange. I tweaked some of them a little, but never made my own files. I have tons of ideas in my head, but just don't know how to implement them in Notebook and use them!

Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about my SMARTboard! Learning more about it will help my students. There's no better reason than that to have extra training!

  5. I am so excited about this give away! I would be thrilled to do a bootcamp with you!

This year will be my sixth year teaching. I received a smartboard through a grant in the spring of 2010. Since receiving the smartboard I have had a fabulous time playing around with the features on it, but truth be told, I have not had the opportunity to use it to its full potential. I have attended 2 trainings on smartboards and have spent time working with our school technology specialist as well as other teachers that have smartboards in their rooms. I thought that I knew all there was to know, and truth be told was kind of disappointed in what little it did. Then I found your blog and several others!

This summer I have spent countless hours trying to build fun new lessons on my smartboard, but have come up feeling frustrated and disappointed in my work. I have been looking for "how-to" books and have come up empty handed in that area as well.

I think that an hour bootcamp with you would be an invaluable experience.

Thank you for so generously putting out this give away. I can't wait until 9:01 tonight!
